It’s not sexy and it isn’t cheap but it is necessary, vital and essential for archiving the images we collect from the weddings, belly bumbs, new babies, families,… we photograph. Long term archiving is an important part (and very non-sexy) of a professional photographer’s life. I will admit it isn’t my favourite. We just purchased two new 4 TB hard drives. Yikes. So I’m feeding them to my Drobo. This brings our main server’s storage space up to many terabytes of image space. So I guess we are now ready for the 2014 wedding photography season that officially opens this coming Saturday. Bring ’em on.
