It’s that time of the year again: family portrait photography sessions taken just in time for the holiday season greeting card writing tradition. Lately, I’ve been blessed with repeat clients who, every November, schedule a date with us to share a moment of fun. I get to catch up with the parents and hear about projects, summer vacation and past family events. The best part is seeing the kids grow up and seeing the family grow in number. I feel like the trusted family photographer and it makes me feel blessed and fuzzy-hearted.
Last week-end, I drove to Ottawa to meet this happy and energetic bunch. I had photographed them 2 years ago about the same time. See how the children have changed! And then there were three.
Back in 2011, the first five minutes of the photo session got us this shot!
Two little elves posing for me.
The beautiful family of four back in 2011.
Moving on to 2013: the beautiful family of five with the latest and youngest family member.
The youngest member of the clan.
How cute is this fireman?
Beautiful portrait of the eldest of the family. Shot taken candidly between posed session. Yes, Ms. Beautiful is sporting a natural scratch on the nose, thank you.
The two little elves, two years later.
Olympic-caliber family skipping. Look at Mr. Fireman, he’s flying!
